SOCIOLOGY & CRIMINOLOGY COMMUNITY STATEMENT
The Department of Sociology & Criminology’s Community, Belonging & Development Committee is committed to:

Fostering and advocating for cultural transformation with regard to community and belonging in our curriculum, programming, and our departmental community,

Serving as a liaison between students, faculty, and staff regarding ideas and concerns related to community and belonging,

Offering information and resources to students, staff, and faculty to foster more community and belonging, and

Standing with students, faculty, and staff to support human rights and belonging for all.
The committee comprises faculty, staff, and graduate and undergraduate student representatives in Sociology and Criminology majors.
