Our Mission
The Department of Sociology’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee is committed to:
- fostering equity, diversity, and inclusion in curriculum, programming, and our departmental community;
- serving as liaison between students, faculty, and staff with ideas and concerns related to equity, diversity, and inclusion;
- offering information and resources to students, staff, and faculty to foster a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive campus.
The committee consists of representatives from the faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students in Sociology and Criminology majors.
