In "Black South Africans explain who they voted for in the last poll, and why,"The Conversation, a web journal covering academic writing, highlighted Marcel Paret's study on South Africa's recent election. The study, "Who votes? Preliminary Findings from an Exit Survey of Voters in the 2019 National Elections," was co-authored with Carin Runciman and supported by the Centre for Social Change at the University of Johannesburg.
